K&N has designed a performance air intake system (69-7082TS) with a powder coated silver finish for the 2007 Infinity G35 sedan with a 3.5 liter V6 engine.
K&N dynamometer tests show an 8.13 horsepower gain at 5960 rpm. The G35 Sedan is a dual throttle body car, and the K&N air intake system is also dual to match the stock system. There are two short ram intake systems with powder coated aluminum tubes, K&N high flow lifetime replacement air filters (RU-4960) and powder-coated steel heat shields that come as part of the 69-7082TS.
In addition to power gains, K&N air intake systems are also designed to increase filtering capacity and improve throttle response. The heat shields are engineered to isolate the oversized K&N high flow air filters from engine bay heat. This intake also makes use of the G35's engine design by locating the individual K&N air filters in the
Front corners of the vehicle where outside air is directed at them.
